Mould cannot just be treated with household products or bleach since this just spreads the spores and masks the problem which will then come back quickly. It is important to treat it with a COSHH certified Mould removing solution.
During the condensation and mould survey, if mould is present we take measurements of the affected areas. If recommended, during the treatment phase Vortice can treat the area with mould solution followed by anti-mould paint. The mould solution eliminates the live mould spores in the affected area, neutralizing the mould. The anti-mould paint prevents live mould spores from settling on the walls, thus inhibiting its occurrence.
Once the mould is treated, appropriate ventilation is installed to ensure the indoor environment is maintained at an acceptable moisture level.
